"Roses" by Montel Heketa "Roses" is a digital painting illustration, created as a year 12 ball backdrop for the 2022 graduating class of Southern River College. Tasked with a whimsical theme and an incorporation of 'stepping into your own story', "Roses" transports you into another world. Created in the industry standard software of Adobe Photoshop, the piece was made by utilising Montell's skill set in digital painting. Usually a punk/rock graphic designer, Montell had to shift his style into a more softer approach. Montell has kept his unique style which is evident within cartoon nature of the leaves.
