"Into the Maze" by Jacob Honschooten Into the Maze is a digital painting illustration, created as a year 12 ball backdrop for the 2022 graduating class of Southern River College. Tasked with a whimsical theme and an incorporation of 'stepping into your own story', Into the Maze transports you into another world. Created in the industry standard software of Adobe Photoshop, the piece was made by utilising Jacob's skill set in digital painting. He used the paint blender tool and oil painting brush to resemble that of an oil painting. A Wacom Intuos graphics tablet was his main source for drawing his illustration.
