Golden Wattle was digitally created by year 12 student Lu Tha Say using Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos Graphic Design Tablet. Golden Wattle is one stamp in a small collection of flora stamps designed for the Australian postal service. The Golden Wattle was a flower that stood out from the rest due to the yellow and gold flowering. This was a large interest in the choice of this flower above others. Using a newly learnt skill from my teacher, I used a particular digital brush, I interpreted the Golden Wattle's flower texture and then created it in my own design style. I followed the design process and was able to address the clients needs. The gradient background was added to tie in with the flora stamps on the Aus post website.
