Description
I have chosen to do this painting because it expresses meaning and represent my cultural identity. My work is based on my family and its connection with the community. Community is very important for me because it is an important source of social connection and give me a sense of belonging. The kangaroo tracks in my drawing show also my connection to native Aboriginal animals. The blue colours and the river at the bottom of my painting represent my ancestors who are the Whadjuk Noongar people of the swan river tribe. dating back some 40,000 year
