The Blue Sun Orchid is a postal stamp designed in a punk-rock style of art. A profound designer in his own right, year 12 student, Montel Heketa, presents the South-West flower as one stamp in a larger collection of Flora stamps. Created in Adobe Photoshop, the digital art piece `was made using a Wacom Intuos Graphic Design Tablet. Layering, brush stamps, and a dark purple colour palette. Montel followed the design process where he researched Australian Flora, designed thumbnails, accepted feedback form peers and created drawing drafts where he then digital designed on the computer.
